DroneLink + TriplTek 8 Pro + Mavic Air 2
I recently decided to retire my DJI Smart Controller and move up to the TriplTek 8 Pro and Mavic Air 2 stock controller. My question is about running the DroneLink app on the TriplTek 8 Pro. I may have gotten into a sloppy workflow with DJI Smart Controller. With the DJI controller, I could launch the DJI fly app and it would connect to the aircraft fine I could then switch to the DroneLink app and it would also connect to the aircraft fine. I could spend my day switching between the 2 apps with no issues. With the TripleTek 8 Pro, the DroneLink App won't connect to the aircraft until I close (swipe up) the DJI Fly App. Would this be considered normal behavior? Or could I have damaged the DroneLink App during my setup and I need to go back and reinstall it again?

Android tablets do different things with USB and sometimes it either locks it - or sometimes you specify that a particular app is the default.
Make sure that you didn't say "always" for the USB on one or the other.
Another thing to try - instead of closing an app when switching, unplug the USB and then plug it in again. Does it default to one app or does it ask which one you want to use? If it doesn't ask the question, you may have set up the default by accident and need to clear it.
You have to force terminate any other apps that connect to the drone that might be running in the background (Item 3 listed here).
Thanks for the responses.... This has been very helpful.
