Consulting Google with "Does Dronelink work with the DJI Mini 5 Pro?" yields
"Yes, Dronelink does work with the DJI Mini 5 Pro, but with caveats: you need to use a specific, unofficial Android APK (not the Play Store version), and while you get waypoint missions and photo collection, Dronelink currently doesn't do the automatic photo stitching for panoramas like the native DJI Fly app does; that's a feature request."
I’d only trust the info directly from the Developer. You can convert and fly limited mission with the DJI Fly app but, no third party app will connect due to no DJI SDK support which is needed first.
Hi Gordon. Android OS device is only required when using the DL mobile app with the newer MSDK 5 supported drones. Since you only using the DL Web app to create and use the DJI Waypoints conversion to a KMZ the device doesn’t matter. So once you convert and export the KMZ into the Fly app an IOS device or Android OS device can be used. I only use iPads and I have used the DJI Waypoints conversion many times and ran them with the fly app with my Air 3 which doesn’t have DJI SDK support. I’ve gotten so good at it only takes me literally about 60 seconds once I have the KMZ file to copy the very long DJI created dummy mission name to the KMZ and then drag it and drop into the DJI Waypoints folder. Hope that helps.

Is this true?

Mike… I appreciated your Mini 5 Pro workaround without an IOS SDK from DJI. I just purchased one for my fleet.
But, everything I have read about workarounds apply to android platforms.
Does the workaround that you recommend apply to IOS platforms upon which my business depends? Thx!

Mike...that's good news. I appreciate the explanation! I'll try it. Thank you...you've earned your keep for today!
