DJI Mini 3 Waypoints
I read that I can create a waypoint mission in dronelink. But I have a self contained RC, I do not use my phone. So how do I link my mission created in the app to my RC to fly?

The Mini 3 does not support DJI Waypoints so there is no way it will work. Check the support link for which drones are supported. https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/4410621290387-Onboard-DJI-Waypoint-Missions-Convert-and-Export-to-KMZ
Unfortunately, you really need to use the RC-N2 for best results (as shown in this video)

If you really must keep your DJI RC then there is a method, but you will lose a lot of functionality in the process. You can see how to do that here:

@Mike - I believe the Mini 3 is supported. https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/15304402363411-Mini-3-Mini-3-Pro-Support-Overview
Maybe I misunderstood but he said he wanted to link a mission created in DL then into the DJI RC controller to fly which I’d assume in the DJI Fly app. The DJI RC won’t work with DL and the Mini 3 does not have onboard waypoints so the only option as you mentioned is using the RC-N2 for DL app but still no DJI Waypoints.
Ahh! Right. I see where you are coming from.
Personally...I think it's worth the small amount of money to buy the DJI RC-N2. I have both the RC and the N2 and it only takes a few seconds to switch between them depending on what I'm doing
Agreed 👍🏼
Thank you for the discussion gentlemen.
