Verification mission with mini 2 failed.
I planned a very simple mission : orbit.
I ran the verification lap. As a result, heading was OK but the gimbal was showing the ground. No possibility to see what was happening in front of the drone. Any idea ?

Thanks for the report. It will be updated in the next version.
Anyone using the "Verification Mission" feature? My flight is not looking straight ahead (like it should). The Drone heading I have set to 270 degrees to patch and the Verification Mission flies at heading 270 degrees to path - not 0 degrees heading like I expected for the verification mission. The only thing overridden is the Gimbal Pitch - which shows 0 Degrees - like expected. . Please can this be explained? Am I doing something wrong?
Also in Verification Mission - pictures are being taken at 10 second intervals. Not sure what setting is causing that. Any help would be appreciated.
Can you share your mission plan?
Daniel Snyder
Are you sure you're doing it correctly?
This video shows it in operation https://vimeo.com/731695843
Daniel Snyder, if you share the plan, I'm hoping to get out with my mini2 tomorrow, so I'll give it a try, if not I'll sort a mission and try it myself
Lets try this one: https://app.dronelink.com/daniel-snyder/site-tech-templates/plan/c3Y5UDr112EVn4F2sptU/TSV5YBfrkRTCCPG0PEdo
Barry - that is the video I've learned about the Verification function that sets the expectations, and the reason I am reporting the issue I am having that contradicts it.
Well I tried Daniel Snyder mission and can confirm that the verification mission doesn't work with mini2, after trying Daniels, I flew a simple mission of my own and screen recorded the flight

Several months ago, the drone was looking down (-90 deg).
Now it is flying with yaw = -90 deg.
Maybe just a question of rotation ? 😀

Maybe the fix has not been applied to the right parameter ? 😀
Thanks for testing and confirming Martin. Right... the Verification Missions should face straight ahead. So now we see teh Verification Mission fails for both the Mini 2 and the Air2s. It just flies basically a normal mission but with only Gimble pitch at 0 degrees for verification. Drone Heading is wrong and not straight ahead. I think we have a bug in this version of Dronelink.
Yep I'd agree with you there Daniel
And here's a short video showing that it doesn't work in the software if you're in "Jim"" mode
