Component creation
Can a Plan with custom settings be saved as a component? I can't figure out to do it? I setup the rotation v and H acceleration and decelleration settings and want to have it as a template like the ones in the app.Thanks

You can just copy that plan when you want to start a new plan.
When I try to use it, it appears at the site it was originally run, how do I remove the location info so it could be used at another location?

What are the chances of a mission-less component repository?
I mean the ability to create reusable components that are not tied to locations. In that case, I can create components that are meant for my Autel Drone and those for my DJI and keep them in a sort of library for reuse.
Currently, my experience is that when I create a component it requires a location, but I think the concept of a component should be applicable to a mission map or mission-less. Would it make sense to make the components not ask for a location? So that by workflow, when I am creating a mission and require components, they simply inherit the mission as the location to apply the component. Where I don't have a mission but would like to create all my reusable components, I could do that without the need to set a location. So that I simply can look up such components easily and attach instances of them to a specific mission.
Is there another way?
While the components need a location that is sort of a red herring because when you insert them you tell it where you want it to go.
For simplicity I put all of the components outside my office since it doesn't really matter.
Hmm! Not very intuitive…but a workaround. Perhaps an experience that could be optimized in the future.
The other thing you can do is copy them to three clip board and paste them in from there when you need to use them
I do the same thing as Barry. All my components like camera, paths, orbits or anything else is placed near my home. It’s still a component which can be added into a plan from your Repos quickly so doesn’t matter where you place it. Also if it is a path component or other and it wasn’t placed on the map somewhere then how would you know what it looks like and how would you alter it if needed. This way you can open up any path, Orbit or other component which may be many to see what it looks like so you can add the correct one. Just some thoughts. Enjoy.
