Unsparsing error when trying to install software to drone - Phantom 4 Pro with V1 Screen

Hi, I have a DJI phantom 4 Pro with the V1 screen (no vents and grey DJI sticker).

When trying to install the software for the V1 screen as per your website, it says 'unparsing error'. The software had worked previously but had an issue when trying to install the latest APK.

In order to make your software work I have wiped everything clean off the drone and controller which took me over 4 hours so I can do a fresh install. Can you please describe the EXACT process I should now follow to ensure drone link installs correctly on the Phantom V1 screen, for example in which order to install the APKs, and at which stages I may need to force stop programs. 

Hoping to get this working as I might roll it out in a business setting but right now it isn't giving me much confidence

    Which APK is giving this error? Are you still able to successfully install the previous APK?

    The order doesn't matter.

    Sorry I deleted the old APK off my phone so not sure what version I previously had

    Thanks - install worked. Logged in and it asked for Email verification which I accepted. App however is now saying '8 : connection to google play services lost' when attempting to log in. Have restarted the device with no luck

    Edit: after a few attempts I am now back in. Should I download the update and install as suggested on the app?

    No point in clicking that button since it will just ask you to download the latest version which isn't working for you. We need to identify when it broke. Can you install each of these builds and see which one starts having the issue?

    pv4v1_12.apk gives the unparsing error. The others allowed me to proceed with an installation. Any ideas on when you might be able to have it sorted? I've got some GPS waypoints set up at my mates house which is being constructed and I'm missing capturing a few important steps :(

    I depends on what is causing the issue, but honestly we may drop support for it because it is using the 32bit version of Dronelink, which really only supports a class of legacy devices that will result in a bad user experience. Having said that, happy to cancel your account / issue a refund if you prefer.

    If you want to continue debugging, try the latest beta APK.

    Pretty dishonest honestly to say you support certain devices then tell me you're just going to drop them off the radar - I've got existing projects I might not be able to finish now. Surely you could get a version working?

    Not sure what is dishonest about what I am trying to do for you:

    1. I am still trying to find a fix (did you try the latest beta APK linked above)?
    2. I am being honest that if we cannot find a fix, we may have to drop support (at which point we will take down the devices from the supported list)
    3. I am offering you a full refund if I am unable to find a fix

    Sorry I thought you were implying you were just going to drop support! Unfortunately I'll likely have this drone until the Mavic 3 pro is released.

    App installed fine but has frozen after entering my details and pressing 'log in' button. Then it gave me the error "There is no user record corresponding to this identifier. The user may have been deleted."

    That's great news, it looks like we may have a work-around!

    Do you have a phone or tablet that you can try logging into Dronelink on (just to see if the login issue is related to the P4 screen specifically)?

    Cool! I can confirm that the log-in works fine on my Samsung A52. Log-in does not work on the V1 screen

    It sounds like Google Play Services isn’t installed yet / correctly. You installed both the Google APKs, correct? Can you try installing them again?

    Ok, now I understand. You installed the dev version of Dronelink. Uninstall that one and install the production version instead.

    Think we are all good to go. Is this version safe to use in the field? If yes I'll test it tomorrow

    Hi Jim, maps are not loading into the software. I can fly the drone and see what's happening but no routes load when I press my flight plan. I can see the map etc, home point, and current drone, however no new waypoints are added. Any ideas please
