Orbit not returning to original orbit

Bob Scheffler

When flying an orbit mission it I pause it and move the drone and re-start the drone does not return to its original path, it starts where it is currently.  If I move it too far it just seems to go haywire.  Is this normal?

it starts where it is currently

This is the intended behavior for Orbit Mode (real-time / continuous / adaptive flight path). If you want to have it resume where it left off you can pre-plan a mission plan with the Orbit component (fixed duration / flight path).

If I move it too far it just seems to go haywire

Can you be more specific about "haywire" or post a screen cap?

It flew behind me and started spinning and then headed towards trees so I had to shut it down.  When the weather here improves I will go out and try it at different distances from the starting point.  I will go to a bigger field though!!
