Account grey screen
I had not used Dronelink for about a week and when I opened it up 2 days ago I received a brief message saying I "Dronelink kernel missing. When I clicked on the app icon I get this.

If I click on my name I get a gray screen with nothing.

I then use my phone's back button to get back to the screen with my name and I click on the hamburger button (only 2 choices) and I get this screen.

If I click on the "Web App" button I get this screen.

This is not how the app worked one week ago. I was trying to use the follow mode but I can't even find it.

Nope. I do not believe I am on the beta. Is there a way to tell for sure?
I open up the link for installing the beta,, and on the TestFlight app it says "no apps" and gives me option to ACCEPT to begin doing the beta.
Any ideas?
Thanx!
If you got your copy of Dronelink from the app store you are not on a beta. The latest beta and retail version are the same right now. (Version 155).
If you have an iOS device follow that link in my previous post and access the betas through the testflight app. Once you get the testflight app installed and access to the betas, you can downgrade your version of Dronelink. The grey screen bug seems to only effect version 155, in my experience.
You want to install the beta of dronelink through the testflight app. So yes accept the option to install (I would remove your current version of dronelink) Once dronelink is installed through the testflight app, you will have a bunch of options (in testflight) under App information. Such as app details, automatic updates, push notifications, email notifications, and lastly previous builds.
Go into previous builds and select any version that isn't the latest. I have been using 2.4.0 (153) with no issues.
Thank you!
Weather keeping me on the ground today, so hope to have a chance to get this sorted out.
Cheers!
We just released 2.4.1 to both app stores (iOS + Android - it may take some time for it to become available). Please let me know if you still see the issue after upgrading.
Jim, I just downloaded the new version and it seems to be working fine. I can't actually fly to verify everything because it is raining here. At any rate thanks for being so responsive. You guys are awesome.
The weather broke for a little so I did some testing. First of all no more grey screen and I have access to "follow, focus and orbit". I did two missions, one was just flying around a sports field next to my house, it is labeled Capen4. I have done this before and I had made a not that the drone was stuttering and you said that was a DJI issue. Good news, DJI issued an upgrade a day or two ago that appears to have solved this problem. This field has soccer nets on the field and I never know where they goin to be so I set the height of the path at 6 feet (I just changed it to 7 feet because 6 was too close). I paused the mission several times because the optical allusion of it flying into trees scared me. The problem was the height of the drone was very erratic. Since height was critical doe to the soccer nets this was an issue. The drone dropped to landing height of about 1 foot and went up as high a 8 feet. It did this throughout 4 circles around the field. It may have been caused by the wind, we were getting 15 to 20 mph gusts. I will wait for the wind to die down and try again. I thought I could adjust the tolerance through the program but I could not. It was set at 5 Feet and I tried adjusting it to 1 foot and it bounced back to 5.
Great. As for the other comments, let's just keep the discussion on this thread to the original issue. If you continue have further issues you can post into other threads.
