Air 2S Aircraft Encoder Error
Greetings. I've posted about this error before and thought I had it resolved after reinstalling the firmware and performing a Compass Calibration, followed by an IMU Calibration. The first mission flight this morning had no errors, so I thought that got it, but after I swapped batteries to resume the mission, the Aircraft Encoder Error reared its ugly head again. I'm using the DJI RC Pro controller, and I'm performing a force quit of the DJI Fly app in the setup/apps section after starting Dronelink. Has there been a resolution to this issue? I see it's been going on for a few years. The missions continue to fly normally to completion, but the error sitting there makes me a nervous wreck.

If there are no errors when using the DJI app then more than likely they are false errors from the DJI SDK and the DL app just reports the errors. So if no issues with DJI app then you can temporally or permanently hide them. Since the mission runs without any issues I’d guess they are false errors. There are other drones which have been reporting other false errors and DJI has never fix most of them. Pilot choice but this is why DL added the ability to hide them which is easy to do. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Mike. I'll look into simply hiding the errors, as they occur on both of my Air 2S drones. Not likely a real problem. I sent my older Air 2S in for repair a couple of weeks ago for apparently no reason. I haven't heard back from them on it yet.
Thanks for the article.

Your welcome. On a separate topic, If it was sent to DJI in China hopefully US customs won’t hold it up for weeks or reject it like others have reported on the DJI forum. If it’s been about two weeks then I’d suggest contacting DJI with the case number or the information so they can look into the repair. They are usually very quick on giving an estimate, repairing and sending it back within about two weeks. It’s all a mess created by ignorant politicians. Just a thought.
No. Since it's no longer covered, I sent it to a repair shop down in L.A. County. He's communicating, so all is well.
