Maps air 2s

Hi, I'm using a Mavic Air 2s and it's not taking photos and the gimbal isn't rotating either. Has this happened to anyone else?

It sounds like there may be a hardware or firmware issue. Have you checked everything in DJI?

Yes, I have updated the firmware of the control and the drone, in the DJI fly application I can fly the drone and take photos and video, even in the dronelink application I can do it but when I play the mission it does not take photos or rotate the gimbal

Frederick Hernandez. For the photo captures check the DJI Fly app and make sure you set the camera to single photo, not intervals AEB etc…. All settings stick across apps and stored in the firmware so whatever it was set to the last time you connected the drone it will be the same. Check the Fly app and once set try the mission again.

I already checked that and everything is as you say, the strange thing is that I already made a perfect flight, took all the photos and turned the gimbal, but it was only the first one, after that it didn't work again and it's this same one that I shared the photo with you.

I just took a flight and it's still the same, it doesn't take photos and the gimbal doesn't rotate.

I changed the gimbal angle, switched to video mode, played with the parameters and nothing, it still doesn't take photos or video and the gimbal doesn't rotate at any angle.

Even if the firmware is up to date have you done a full firmware refresh on both. You can only do a refresh with the DJI Assistant 2 (consumer drone series) PC software. It doesn’t take long and I’d do that first to rule it. If it still doesn’t work then as Jim stated it could be a drone hardware issue. Just a thought and it will eliminate that as a possible issue.

I just did it and it's still the same, no photos or video, it just flies and does the whole route but nothing more.

It sounds like a hardware or firmware issue to me.

If it is hardware or firmware we have no control over it, you have to go to DJI.
