DJI Mini 4 Pro fails to start mission and keeps moving disoriented
Trying to perform a mission with DJI Mini 4 Pro and DJI RC-N2 the drone keeps moving its head from side to side and the gimbal up and down, disoriented, and unable to start the mission.

Haven’t head of that affecting the Mini 4 actually. Do you have a video you can post? Does it happen on all missions in all locations?
Sorry @mike but I didn’t find anything related to dji mini 4 pro.
@Jim I found something interesting: I tried the same mission on the same location more than 5 times (restarting the drone and the dronelink DjI app) without success. Afternoon I made a copy of that mission on top of my house and it run well. What changes? I started the dronelink DjI app and after that I started the drone (previously I started the DjI fly to repair the RC-N2 with the drone and than closed DjI Flu and started dronelink DjI). It sounds like there may be RF interferance at the other location.
Myself was also confronted with this bug in 2024 with the DJI mini 3.
To avoid this ‘dancing drone’ bug, two smartphones are used:
- an old iPhone for DJI Fly
- an Android (Samsung A34) for DJI Dronelink, without closing this application.
Since this configuration has been used, the ‘dancing drone’ bug has not reappeared, as described at
