Mapping Missions & Obstacle Avoidance
I've tried to understand the compatibility of Obstacle Avoidance by reading article: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/26107953807507-Obstacle-Avoidance-Support-and-Commands.
However it is not clear how "Avoid" mode works in a mapping mission. Does it skip the next photo location(s) when it encounters a Obstacle? Does the drone avoid the obstacle by moving vertically or horizontally then continue the mission automatically - missing 1 or more photos? Also for non MSDKv5 drones - if an obstacle is detected does the drone just stop and hover? Several questions here for clarity please.

It depends on the setting in DJI, but in any case, if DJI causes the drone to stop or avoid, once the drone gets too far off the path, Dronelink will disengage. In the case of avoid, if the error tolerances are large enough, it is possible it will get around it, but in any case, DL will continue taking pictures until the disengagement (if any).
