Gimbal orientation failed
Ok so this afternoon I tried to fly a short photo mission that I've flown before without any problems, however today I kept getting the message as per the attached screenshot
I finally gave up and took a couple of photos manually, the gimbal reacted fine to manual control

Can you try it with a mission plan with just the gimbal command while the drone is on your desk?
Yeah I'll take a look at that Jim
Hi Jim, that worked just fine, I'm wondering if its me expecting a little much, the temperature was Only just above 0C when i tried to fly this
ok here's a further update Jim McAndrew, its warmed up just a little so I thought I'd give this another try with the original mission:
Once I got the mission to actually run, the drone flew up to the first photo location where after hovering for a while the mission failed with gimbal message (This is running the latest beta on my tab 9 FE)
I then landed the drone, turned everything off, and after realising that I'd still got 299 on my Tab 7 FE, I tried the mission again, with the result in the following screenshot (yes it completed correctly after that early message)
So Jim can you give me a link to the APK for 299, so I can try that on the 9 FE, so that I can see if its the beta or device that's causing the problem
Here's a link to the mission https://app.dronelink.com/martin-reading/public-test/plan/Ds8RaaoE9FbNQQfawWpB
The only thing that changed from 299 to 300 was one line of code to correct this issue: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/36851861862675
Cheers Jim, very odd, maybe I'll try an uninstall and reinstall and see what happens then
