Improve on DJI "mastershot"?

Mountain Goat

I have recently purchased a DJI mini 4 pro and I'm very happy with the "mastershot" mode which records completely automatic around a subject of interest. Being a beginner, I like the automation!

I am specifically interested in landscape photography, and I would like to extend the automated mode to get nice panoramas of the mountains, e.g. by having the drone spiral around and making sweeps with the zoom etc. I was wondering whether dronelink is the right software to implement that. Any advice would be highly appreciated!

I want to specify. I have found the shared repos, and they are amazing. What I don't know, however, is whether it's possible to create a "generic" flight path that can be used anywhere. Essentially, what I'd like to have is the equivalent of the mastershot, i.e. something that can be triggered with a single button, will execute the whole sequence starting from its home point, and then return to its home (regardless of where that is).

Sorry, the DJI mini 4 pro is not a compatible drone.   see   https://www.dronelink.com/supported-drones

ah, that's a bummer! Do you think that it will be updated to include it in the future? The Mini 3 Pro is included, and it's a very similar drone (many accessories are even interchangeable between the two)

No I don't think dji will add the 4 to an SDK which is what needs to happen before the 4 can be used with any 3rd party software, this is all in dji hands.

Personally I don't think you'll see any future consumer level dji drones being added to an SDK

I guess that ChatGPT led me astray... (not for the first time) :(
