follow mode test

Bob Scheffler

I recently posted about testing all 3 beta modes and I had an incident in which I had lost complete control of the drone (RTH did not work) and I had to shut down Dronelink and load DJI Fly.  I tried to re-create the same situation and I did.  I flew the follow mode in 2 different ways.

1) I flew it with no options picked and it worked fine. I had it follow me in my truck at 140 feet so as not to hit anything, I went several blocks and it was perfect.

2) I flew it with all options picked:  I put the drone up to 140 feet and started to drive and the drone would not follow.  I attempted to gain control of drone to bring it down and I had no stick control.  I then hit RTH and nothing happened.  Drone was in no danger it was just hovering but I had to shut down Dronelink program and start DJI Fly to gain control.  I will continue to test each option.  I am using the mini with a Samsun S9 phone.

When you hit RTH, did you hold it down or just tap it?
