Autel - Video Missions

D

Hello,

Does Dronelink support autonomous video missions for the Evo II Pro, including starting the video when the mission begins and stopping it when the mission ends?

On the Autel specific list of limitations, it mentions that waypoint missions aren't supported - is this still the case? Does this mean the drone can't continue the mission if the controller disconnects?

Is there a maximum speed limitation for video missions?

Thank you.

Hi D. Onboard waypoints is not supported so you can’t load them into the aircraft. Most of the supported drones use Virtual stick so obviously it is supported with that method. It also indicates all the camera commands which are supported in the link I’m sending. Maximum speed will be whatever the Autel SDK allows. I don’t have a Autel but most of the DJI drones have a max available speed of 33.6 mph, (54 kph.) it doesn’t matter if it is a path, orbit, mapping or other component. It is only available with IOS and must purchase a Hobby Elite, starter or Growth professional plan. If you search this forum there are a lot of other threads regarding the Evo’s which may help. Hope that helps.
