Problem using on-the-fly missions

Deidrich Fehr
I am an Elite paid user. I'm trying to follow instructions for an on-the-fly orbit mission. I am able to create an on-the-fly orbit mission. When I fly it everything appears to work satisfactorily. I hit the pause button to pause and stop the mission when I am done. If this not the correct to stop the mission please let me know. I can't find any button or anything on my screen to stop, only pause..

When I got home and went into my online dronelink account I could not find the on-the-fly missions anywhere. From videos I have seen I have seen that there is supposed to by some time of small airplane icon for me to view my last on-the-fly missions and save them. I can't find this icon anywhere. The only thing I see only four buttons. The Home button, a Missions button, a Mode Sessions button, and a Bell icon which shows recent activity. Where can I find the on-the-fly functionality?

The mode sessions show the on-the-fly missions but say "Mode Paused". I this why I am not seeing the missions? To me this indicates that I had not stopped the mission correctly.

Could someone please tell me how to properly stop and complete an on-the-fly mission on site and have it available in the online app?

Thanks

Are you looking in the app or on the web?

Are you saying that in the app you don't have the little clock / history icon at the bottom?

Check out this section of the on the fly tutorial https://youtu.be/akKzCtNRNm4?si=E7sVzGIJo9CR1e7q&t=196

Or are you saying that there is a clock/history icon but when you go there the mission you were running does not show up?

If it's that it is not showing up then that might be because it still thinks it is running and just paused.

I do see a clock icon at the bottom, but when I press it the on-the-fly missions are not there. They appear to be in the "Modes" button section. However, when I click on one of them it shows "Mode paused".

I watched the tutorial you indicate above, but this is a waypoint on-the-fly mission. In the example the drone goes thru the mission and at the end says "Mission accomplished. This does not work the same way for an orbit on-the-fly mission. I watched the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtG86mrSO0o which is the video for orbit on-the-fly missions. In this video I am told to press the "Pause" button to stop the mission, as there is no other way to stop.

I think that is my problem. How do you properly stop an orbit on-the-fly mission at the end so that it does not show up as "Mode paused" in the "Modes" section, and instead shows up in the history for me to view/save?

    Thanks

Hi Deidrich. You can save it as a plan if you answer No to stick input as explained in the thread I’m sending. Also the answer to your question about stopping any mission is yes, the pause button whether on the screen or controller is the way to stop it and then exit it once done. Hope that helps. Enjoy.
