Thank you! As I understand the French pilot
1) rotated the camera in dji fly
2) turned off orientation lock in dji fly
3) turned off dji fly
4) turned on dronelink.
Is this correct?
Is there any plan on adding this feature (portrait button) to dronelink, or at least be able to do it in missions, in the near future?
Otherwise this application becomes rather redundant for dji mini 3 pro users I think.
Br,
Daniel Larsson
What makes you say that, personally I've never seen the point of a portrait camera on a drone, as generally speaking with a drone you're filming landscapes, so landscape is the obvious orientation to use whatever drone you're flying
Okey maybe not entirely redundant, but since I primarily put up the videos on Instagram and the video really becomes small there if I use vertical I prefer the vertical mode.
Do you know however if would be the same video quality if I were to cut the video in the middle for example when I edit?
Sorry Daniel Larsson, no idea, i don't do any portrait work with video
I don’t use any social media stuff and also never use portrait. However, as long as you only crop off the sides it doesn’t change the resolution quality even if you manually crop just the sides. You should be able to see how it works with your editing app.
