Mini 3 Pro Remote ID Error

Jesse
I have been using Dronelink for a couple months now with no issues. I downloaded a firmware update for Dronelink the other day and now my Mini 3 Pro is unable to take off due to Remote ID error. Connects just fine otherwise. Am still able to fly it using the DJI Fly app. Anyone have an idea? I have uninstalled and reinstalled both apps multiple times and have rebooted my phone but no luck.

Thanks for the bug report. We will see if we can reproduce it and get back to you.

We were able to reproduce it and it may be related to the fix discussed in this thread:

Until we find a resolution, it seems that you can takeoff first in DJI Fly and then switch to Dronelink and continue.

Does the previous version work for you?

I uninstalled the current and installed the version you just linked. The old version works correctly. I had no problem with taking off or Remote ID Error.

Confirmed, this is a DJISDK 5.9.0 issue, we are working with them to resolve it.

I think it may be DJI Fly. Their most recent update.

DJI confirmed that this is an issue with the RC Pro using older firmware versions. The options are 1) upgrade your firmware 2) wait for DJI’s fix.

I have this problem with the RC-N1 and android phone.

How can I get the previous version until this is fixed? Assuming that link above is for the RC Pro only.

I only had time to install and see if the remote id error is gone and indeed it is.

After work today, i will go try a mission.

Thank you for the quick response!!

Thanks! the new beta apk fixed the "unknown error" when trying to launch and fixed the remote ID error but now I'm getting a "strong interference" message that i have never got before.

Do you get that error in all locations?

Tried 3 different locations that I fly frequently and all have it

    1. Is there any location that doesn't have it?
    2. Does DJI Fly report the same thing at the same location?
    3. Does the previous build (linked above have it)?
    4. Does it prevent you from flying?

We are not currently seeing this error on our test drones, and in the end, Dronelink just reports error messages from the DJI SDK.

I encountered this issue today on RC Pro with Fly 1.13.5
What is the version of the DL beta that "fixes" the remote ID preventing takeoff?
I really wish the downloadable APK had the version number in the filename.

My mini 3 pro uses a new Dronelink that I downloaded last night experiencing bugs, which is to download switch to N mode, when it was already in N mode, it happened in the middle of the mission and the drone became a hover.

Asep Nurwanda Martha Putra. Looks like you posted your question in the wrong thread. This thread is about the Remote ID error was corrected. As far as your issue, I’d check the DL help article in the link I’m sending. If none of that works or is the issue then check to see if you have the OA enabled in the DJI Fly app and set to bypass, (APAS). If so I suggest to turn it off or set to brake only. It has been reported that it only happens on rare occasions and only when set to bypass.

Also a ton of DL helpful articles and some tutorial videos to look through which will more than likely answer the mass majority of any questions.
