Maybe this will help. A lot of help articles for much of what DL can accomplish. There will always be factors which may affect the mission depending on which type you choose to use.

In addition to what Mike (Arizona Wyldwest) posted above if you are flying a grid mission, then yes you might get a situation where you have several photos close together, as its taking photos as it flies vertically and horizontally along the grid, in the attached screenshot photos taken while traveling up and down the grid are highlighted purple, those across are in yellow, the bottom left pair by chance are almost direct on the intersection, this is nothing to worry about as software such as WebODM will match everything up to make the final Ortho
Hi all, posting here as this relates to my question.
Could you give me an advice on why we see this gap in the photos capturing during the flight?
Nothing changed during the mission. I set the plan, took off and let it finish. No interruptions.
The plan was to capture normally as it did in both paths, but suddenly a gap that gave me missing piece when processing the ortophoto in WebODM. Please see below settings and flight path:
By the way, I realized if we want to ortho process the entrances of an area (such as these 3 access wings) it's better to run another light path from one to another instead of adjusting the boundaries like these, correct?
This is the result - only a missing section in orthophoto which I believe has to do with this mysterious small gap in the photo taking.
I've been finding this forum and community amazingly helpful, thanks.
