Inspection of dams or other unconventional structures
Hey there,
I was wondering about the best workflow for planning a dam inspection, specifically for high-resolution 3D models. Given the variety of shapes and sizes of dams, a regular vertical inspection might not meet all the requirements (or would it?). Is there a possibility in the future of importing 3D models into Dronelink to precisely plan the inspection routes? Or even utilizing the sensors to maintain an even distance from the structure? I'm curious to hear your thoughts.
Best wishes,
Joey

If you've got the elite hobbyist plan or any of the proffesional plans then maybe take a look at the facade component

I didn’t realize Hobbyist Elite had the Facade component but if it does just realize you will need a Growth plan to use On the Fly Facades. That may be the better way for your situation. As far as importing I believe you can use Google Earth and see if that will work to set it up then import into DL
