Did you know that changing the overlap affects the flight speed, or that the system lets you know the ground sampling distance?

Good one Barry, I must play with such things more, really guilty of using just the defaults
Nice work Barry. Always professional and informative. The overlaps, altitude and sampling distance explanations on how everything works with the speed and target distance settings I believe was simple and clear. Maybe someday an app will process all the images all automatically for me like the Panos and 360° Spheres I sometimes do. lol……. 🤪

Most of the time you don't need it. But being able to automatically calculate the overlaps on a roof is super useful and something most other systems don't do very well.
Be interesting to see what difference it makes next time I get a chance to fly
