POI/Frame is off
I am using Dronelink with my DJI Mini 3 Pro on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 with RC-N1 Controller. I have been flying three different missions with only one POI a couple of times to document the building of a house from different perspectives. It worked great for the first few times with minimal changes in the frame. But since the beginning of 2024 the POI/frame seems to be off to the left quite heavily and also the Offset seems to be lower. Wind is not too heavy, I am flying max 30m altitude with only about 1 - 2 mp/h, overall connectivity is great, I have not changed anything in the mission, the software is updated on all devices and I have calibrated the gimbal, compass and MTU properly before flying. What else could cause this problem?

I’d check the gimbal to see if it is actually straight. I’ve seen this before on different drones over the years and even though you perform an auto calibrate some will not be pointing straight forward. I’ve read some have been off by as much as 8 or more degree to one side of the aircraft. My MA2 is manually set 2° to be centered. My Air 3 is 1.2°. Not much but if it’s any more it could be the issue. Doesn’t take long to check it and easy to see the misalignment if it is off even a bit. I’d check that first and go from there. The POI offset is always set to 0’ so on that issue the only thing I can think of is where you’re placing the POI pin. I flew a couple mission not long ago which had POI ‘s and I saw no issues. Other than that someone could look your plan if you want to share it a possibly run it to see if they have any issue your describing. Check and report back.
Thank you for the input. I did check the gimbal and it does seem straight. (I did not find a way to check it other than through with my eyes) I still changed Yaw to +1 and flew the mission again and it worked. But when I flew it again with Yaw back to 0 it still worked. So overall everything seems to be back to normal atm. I will fly some more in the coming days and see if it stays that way and otherwise report back.
About the mission: I don't think it was the mission, since I flew it a couple of times and it worked perfectly and did no changes to it afterwards.
I Checked that device and it’s over 4 years old so more then likely not powerful enough to keep up. Try a much newer device or upgrade to a modern hardware device for best results. It’s explained in DL’s help articles in the very first FAQ. I’ve been using DL for over three years and older more lower performance devices will not work well and I’ve seen many problems like this due to low performance. A couple links to read through. You can see that DL has the Remi Note 7 & 9 on their Google Spreadsheet list as a low performance device. Good luck. I think it’s time to upgrade.
