Airdata in case you have an account.
Missions are recorded in DL. You should see where the flight ended.

Airdata or other flight log service will be easier and quick. If you don’t use them then there are a couple ways depending on your device. Just do a web search and you will find a ton of information on where to find them and download them into a readable format.

Thank you Stephane, sorry but I don't know where to find airdata. I m gonna atach an image of mission progress page. I am not sure if the red airplane is the drone's last position, if that is te case it does not show the coordinates.

Airdata is an app you would need to already been using so sounds like you didn’t have it. Unfortunately the find my drone won’t work once the battery is depleted. The round red circle is the last spot in the mission when it triggered RTH. The plane icon is the last recorded location of the drone so doesn’t look too far away. I’d take a phone with you and walk to that general area using your phones GPS with Google Maps. Other than that you can search the internet for how to download the flight log whether IOS or Android OS.

Find my drone will work even if the battery is depleted as it uses the last known location as the location if there is no signal.

What I don't know off the top of my head is whether that feature works if the DJI app was not being used at the time the signal was lost.

I should have said it won’t flash the lights and beep once battery is dead. It won’t work when using DL because there are no flight logs created in the DJI App. The only way it would have worked is if you opened the DJI app right away and tried to reconnect soon after. If not then I don’t see how you would have any log of the flight to find the last location. This is one of the many reasons to use Airdata. Hopefully they found it.

    Agreed.

Maybe I'll do another 5MF one day on how to do things if the battery is dead or the drone crashed and is non-responsive.

Forgot to mention you can get the logs as the instructions indicate.

Good idea Barry. Throw in all the possible ways to finding it would be helpful.

Thanks Mike (Arizona Wyldwest), you can also do a 5MF on the DL generation log solution 🙂.
