Professional plans can be purchased monthly by selecting it at the top of the pricing page. If you want to continue you can switch to annual billing and save money. All Hobbyist plans a one time fee so if just using for recreational purposes only then you could purchase the Basic plan and try it. If you want to upgrade at any time to either the Premium or Elite you will only need to pay the difference. Dronelink has a 14 day period as explained in which you can request a refund if not satisfied with the app. I suggest you go through the help section to see which drones and devices are supported along with the system requirements. Including a few links which should help.
