How do I get a refund?
I downloaded and paid for a subscription because my drone is now able to use this app.
Just to find out that It's not compatible with my controllers, this is very confusing.
Please help, this app provides no use to me at this point.

I’m guessing you have the Mini 3. Not sure why it’s confusing but the DL help section explains which controllers are supported. Follow the link for a refund.
