[BUG] Air 2s photo interval error / iphone 14pro screen glitching
This is my first mission using dronelink. I tried to run a mission and an error regarding photo interval appeared. (Error code 5). the message asked to restart the drone. I done it but the error appears again. Whenever the error appears, the mission stops and i cant go on. The message says to contact dji sdk support.
Then i tried to make a manual flight using dronelink app at near distances (aprox. 800m) and at an altitude of 120m and the iphone screen at the app was very slow, glitching, specially when i take pictures. The sky was clear, no obstructions, i was at an open field.
Thanks in advance for any help

First things first, is the A2S firmware upto date without any hacks, and can you possibly share the mission
What interval was it set to ? The drone can only capture at intervals which it is capable of.
As far as the slow, glitchy screen. When shooting photo intervals there can be a few factors which may affect how long it takes to process the images. Regardless of what device or drone there will always be at least a slight pause of the screen while the image is being processed even with DJI App.
1. The SD card may not be fast enough to process the images quickly. A minimum of a V30 rated SD card should be used for best results.
2. If taking JPEG+ Raw it will take more time to process the images and more then likely you will need to set interval to a minimum of 3 seconds or even 5 seconds to give enough time for the image to be processed and written to the SD card before triggering the next capture. If it tries to capture while still processing the previous image it will fail. If only shooting JPEG then 2 or 3 seconds should work but again the SD card can be an issue.
3. The devices ability to process everything. (Since you’re using the iPhone 14 that device is more than powerful enough and I doubt that has any impact.
Also 800m (1/2) mile away is not at near or close distance. At that distance it is possible the live feed may be a bit slow which may be part of the issue. I believe it’s one of the other things I mentioned above but If there is any interference from a distance of 1/2 mile away then the live feed can be effected. I believe it’s either the interval time and or SD card.
So please advise what interval time was set and what brand and rating is the SD card. Martin mentioned the firmware as well which when it comes to the A2S it needs to be up to date. There were a lot of issues and firmware updates for the A2S to fix many problems particularly when using DL app. If you wish to share that plan then someone can take a look and even possibly fly the mission to see if any issues.
Thanks you all guys for the prompt answers.
Martin: definetely i do not use any hacks. The firmware is update and on the version 02.04.2500. I checked for new updates and there isnt any new one.
the Link of the mission is https://app.dronelink.com/andr--andreasi/lixao/plan/0lP9D0E1FHrj3z5fcq2E/bBlj1ADlBJS3I3E1TzXH
Mike: the interval is set to 5 seconds. You are right. A message comes saying that the sd card is slow and may affect the processing. i am using a sandisk ultra 64 gb class 10 xc1. Will buy a better one; The cool thing is that i was able to process using drone deploy without any problem. Firmware is updated; Not using JPEG+. The link of the mission is above.
Is there a way to set the pictures with distance offset instead of each "x" seconds?
Thank you very much again for the help!
You need to add Camera Photo Type and select “interval” command as well and I suggest placing it just before the interval time. It’s no different than when using the DJI app. You must select Photo, then interval and select the interval time. Should fix your issue. You can use a map component instead of a path and set to distance capture but I’m fairly sure you need a professional plan. Otherwise the only way to capture at specific locations along a path is to add Path Actions where you want it to capture.

Thank you very much. Will try your tips and let you know.
