Creating a Map Plan for Use Without a Gimbal
I'm trying to fly a LiDAR mission with a DJI Matrice 600. My LiDAR sensor is mostly a self contained unit. It doesn't require a gimbal or trigger commands to operate. Dronelink does not need to do anything to operate the LiDAR. I only need dronelink to fly the M600 I'm using. I'd like to create a map plan to fly the drone, but I can't create a map plan without setting a gimble pitch. When I try to set the gimbal pitch to zero, Dronelink defaults to -5°. If the gimbal pitch is set to -5°, and I try to execute my flight plan anyway, Dronelink gives me the "Gimbal Orientation Failed". Is there a good workaround for using a map plan without setting a gimbal pitch? Would it be possible to someday ignore the gimble orientation warning? Is there another way to configure a flight plan that doesn't require a gimbal? Thanks.

Hi Camron. Another pilot just asked about that drone recently. Check the link and see if it answer your question. Also a link which has info regarding which drones are supported and which are not officially supported.
