ChangeLog Dronelink DJI 274 vs. 275

Alexander Kuhn

Is any information about the changes between both versions available. Perhaps this could be used for targeted testing and feedback could be given here.

Check out the release notes here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BhEFrDV7UHM7fDJKq_4kpFbIa3_egmPv10ucvi1BA9c/edit#gid=0 Looks as though it hasn't had 275 notes added yet

Martin Reading This looks like the release notes for Dronelink, which is currently 4.8.1. (273) in the play store. I am concerned with the changes to the Dronelink DJI beta, which should currently be 4.8.2 (275).

Alexander Kuhn, that sheet covers both Dronelink & Dronelink DJI, if you look in column A you'll see this entry "Updated to DJI SDK 5.6.0 (Android)that is the SDK that Dronelink DJI uses, the beta for Dronelink is also 4.8.2 (275)

Jim McAndrew said right at the start, that both apps would have the same release numbers, I guess they just haven't got round to updating the sheet yet

Martin Reading, accordingly, it is then the "official" releases in the release notes and not the information on the beta versions. The table reflects exactly the status in the play store. Officially, 4.8.1 (273) is released there as no beta. Here in the sub-forum it is only about beta tests and therefore my question was aimed at exactly this point.

The beta release notes are included in the notes in the respective app store beta distribution channels (Google Play and TestFlight),

What about for Dronelink DJI beta Jim McAndrew

We build both apps from the same codebase, so the list is usually identical. This is also why it is so frustrating that Dronelink DJI crashes while Dronelink does not (same code).

I think Google Play will only show the beta release notes if you have joined the beta in Google Play, FWIW.

I'm getting a "275 available" message in the app, but when I download from the google drive link, the installed version is still showing 274 (and the "275 available" message is still there). When I installed the APK, though, it said "kernel updated." So now I have Version 4.8.2 (274) Kernel 4.8.1. Something seems wonky.

Jim McAndrew, thanks for bringing my attention to the beta release notes in the play store. For Dronelink 4.8.2. (276) for example like this:

    - Corrected an issue with NaN in Facade video estimates
    - Corrected an issue with POI altitude offsets in Photo components
    - Corrected an issue with loading user avatar images
    - Corrected an issue with saving missions

From the chat history, I conclude that these changes are the same for Dronelink and Dronelink DJI betas because the same code base is used.
