Ok Martin (we've read your indication a lot of times but I don't change much from the result...), ok Jim, nobody accuses anyone, God forbid..., we're just discussing the problems that arise during the planning of a mission with DL. I have faith in DL and I will continue to trust them otherwise I wouldn't be here writing any further because I consider you very professional, but I don't like it when we pass by like kids who want to play with the drone... My hope is that it arrives as soon as possible to have a good definitive result and no longer a beta (a drone like the mini3 Pro or 4 mini 3 pros etc still have significant costs and are not toys...) or anything else so that we all remain happy. I hope you forgive my outburst (which is not just mine...) Good work
OK PERFECT jIM, BUT WHY IS THE RC PRO NO LONGER IN BETA? DESPITE IT HAVING A MORE OBSOLETE SYSTEM THAN OUR SMARTPHONES?DJI originally created MSDKv5 to support the controllers with built-in screens, which run an older version of Android compared to most modern mobile devices that people like to use. When we petitioned DJI to extend MSDKv5 support to non-DJI controllers (to support the Mini 3), there proved to be many deprecated APIs that they were using (because they made assumptions about which version of Android was targeted) which cause instability when combined with modern versions of Android. They have been attempting to remove references to these deprecated APIs over time, but there are many and the major ones remaining have to do with the video previewer, which they are in the middle of re-writing for MSDK 5.7.0.
Perfect and this is why it bothers me when some experts bring up the smartphone etc etc. It's no longer easy to say sorry, at the moment the DJI drone is not usable.Vorresti dire al momento che Il Dji Mini 3 Pro ha un po' di difficoltà fino alla stabilizzazione del 4.8
At the moment using the DJI DroneLink with the mini 3 pro there are also problems of frequent oscillations around the lateral axis called pitching, when I do some tests I don't notice this problem and in only one direction, I mean, part makes the first swipe and oscillates around on the lateral axis it then turns and does not present this problem which then reoccurs on the third strip. No significant wind. I have never reported this but it is risky.
Please show a screen recording of the issue and post steps to reproduce.
Dovrei filmare il drone, sullo schermo non c'è nessuna notifica. Non è operazione semplice filmare il drone a 40 metri di altezza ma ci provo.
if you do a screen recording any movement of the drone that isn't expected will show on the screen
Ma a video non si nota la gimbal mantiene la posizione nello specifico in verticale e non è influenzata dal beccheggio.
But on the video you don't notice the gimbal maintains its position specifically vertically and is not affected by pitch.Roberto Lombardi Geologo. “Perfect and this is why it bothers me when some experts bring up the smartphone etc.”
If it was about my one comment then Perhaps the understanding was lost in the language translation. I never once said the app crashes were from using an underpowered/older device. I was very clear about that. I specifically stated “Even if it does work you may experience other problems then the app crashes which have been very well documented.” Using a 5 year old underpowered device might work but may struggle and have issues and not give the user a good flying experience. Not all devices are created equally. If the device didn’t matter then DL would not advise to use a modern device which has been released in the last year or two. I even sent a link to the DL article which explains that. The App crashes are a completely different issue and well documented and different than the device performance. Obviously a misunderstanding. Anyway, hope that clears it up. Enjoy.
