If you are looking for a specific overlap can you use Facade instead?
This is specially for cell towers. A typical orbit needs between 40-60 images in one complete orbit.
This was created using facade https://studio.youtube.com/video/Dwc_rdJj9nI/edit
This shows all the photos (568)
The mission I used can be found here https://app.dronelink.com/martin-reading/derbyshire/plan/D2QDjJ4kl3bQpkaomez7
I believe the facade missions take a certain amount of extra time plotting points and such, plus the method used to capture a tower isn't concerned about a grid pattern. Plus, the orbit is ideal since there's barely any setup, and what you do setup is merely on the fly with a poi, making it much faster to get the dataset desired.
The orbit tool as it stands works great for obtaining tower datasets. I'm just requesting another feature to lock in degrees per second (just like a litchi orbit has).
Understood. Is there a reason you want to use Dronelink vs Litchi since it already has what you want?
I prefer the on the fly setup, UI, and features. POI tracking seems more consistent.
"Is there a reason you want to use Dronelink vs Litchi since it already has what you want?" If he's using the M3E its not supported by Litchti at the moment.
