test of the beta version DL DJI 4.8.1/4.8.0 with a mini 3 pro + Pixel 7pro
my tests with version 4.7 of Dronelink DJI did not work. the app constantly crashed.
I updated the DJI SDK and DJI Dronelink and did a test on a limited mission map (7 photos).
no problem with the app, and the mission went perfectly from takeoff to landing.
I will test with a real mission tomorrow but it's very encouraging.

Great.
So the Pixel 7 issues have been corrected?
according to my test it's ok with a pixel 7 pro for a small mission map, which was already possible with the 4.6 but not the 4.7 which crashed on the first photo.
I've been testing with a Pixel 7 Pro (among others) since day 1 and never had any issues that weren't common to other phones.
as Einstein said "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." it's a bit of a credo for testing dronelink
Today I tested the application with a more complete mission: pano + orbit + map.
result: the application crashed twice (every 3 minutes it seems) but I was able to restart the application and resume the mission which is better but very far from being perfect.
I was wondering if there was a mission log somewhere to know which photos correspond to the sub-mission (orbit, pano, map)?
Gilles SEGURA. Maybe this will help.

Hi Mike, I don't know how to indicate in which directory the photos are.
Ok. I’ve run some mapping plans over the years but I don’t do any stitching so It’s all foreign to me. Maybe someone else who does a lot of mapping can help.
There is definitely no point in testing to see if the crash behavior is corrected unless we specifically post a message asking you to because we have made a potential fix. Will likely post to this thread in that case:

Lucky you, when I saw your post, I had to try it with my Pixel6. And no, still doesn`t work ( Drone not connecting) and yes, I can read about unsupported devices.
news from the front....and they are quite good.
version 4.8.2(277) / kernel 4.8.1 - pixel 7 pro - android 14
As with each new version of the application, I tested my 2 usual missions:
- the first of the 2 minutes which ends normally
- the 2nd of 8 minutes which had never been finished until now
-> 1st: ok
-> 2nd: ok! with only a loss of transmission for 10 seconds which forced me to restart the mission that was in progress (purple icon) but without crashing the application!
so it's better, you're not far from having solved this problem
That may not be down to the app, but due to interference on site, ifr in the web app you click on the little clock that will bring up the history page, if you then select the mission you had problems with you'll see some messages on the right like this, which will give more info as to why it paused
New test today, flight ok except that it ended before the end due to an empty battery.
I had already noticed this problem on the site when creating missions, there is no real optimization of journeys during a grid mission. Everything happens as if it was carrying out 2 missions without being able to completely combine the 2 "directions" of the grid.
In this test, the flight lasted more than 25 minutes, the drone returned above its starting point after 95% of the mission accomplished, it left to complete a diagonal that it still had to photograph while it had already flown over the area. After a single photo, the drone returned to RTH procedure
