No, moving to feature requests. One complication is that R Zones can only be defined in a mission plan, so the most basic implementation would require a user to open a mission plan and then not run it?
Good point. Some of the times where I have thought about this feature, have been during a mission where I have realized part of the plan won't work out, and in that case, manual restricted zone flight felt like a useful idea. Instead I usually stop the mission and change the specific part of the mission. Btw, maybe I'm missing something, but I am wondering if it is in fact the case that you cannot choose to go to another part of the mission during mission flight? For example switching to manual flight after task x, and then wanting the mission to be resumed from, say, x+4 instead of from x, where the mission was paused? I may just have to dive back into the articles, but as far as I can tell, I can't choose to start/resume mission from a chosen part of the mission.
But yeah, I guess a basic mission only containing restriction zones would be the implementation. But it would honestly be useful, because some parts of a job are just easier to do manually — and having to "micromanage" adherence to, for example, self imposed courtesy restriction zones can be slightly tedious during manual flight, especially when the in-app restriction zones are sitting there looking very tempting.
But I understand why manual flight would basically be an exception-case in the whole Dronelink automization vision.
Is it possible to manually adjust the controls like the DJI app, like the modes in the Fly app?!
