Autel EVO II - two separate video files despite list capture in use

MarcinL

Hi All,

I was flying today with dronelink for the first time. The drone in use was Autel EVO II. The mission was just waypoints plus orbit with video capture. I have followed the tutorial on smooth video and I have created a list with a single capture - mission preview shows only one video - Capture 1. When I downloaded the files it occured that I had two videos - waypoints and then orbit, as if a single list capture was ignored. I flew the same mission twice, which again resulted in two separate video files. Seems this particular drone type has limitations, but perhaps there is something I should look at in the settings of the mission or elsewhere?

Can you possibly share the mission, that way we'll probably be able to sort you out

Ok, all looks good on that what size are the 2 files, I'm wondering if you've hit the video file size limit, and is automatically been split into 2 files

3,77GB is the first segment, i.e., waypoints and it is exactly the same in both missions. I only have one full orbit - 2,09G, the other one was interrupted by something and it did not finish. I will run a similar mission, but shorter to see if I am getting a single video. Thank you very much for looking at it.

Yeah sounds as though you're hitting the fat 32 file size limit which is just under 4 GB

Martin beat me to it. My guess is if you put those two videos one after the other in a video editor there will be no break.

Yep, that's likely what's happening. At least it's easy enough to combine the 2 files in post.
