RC-Pro issues

Hi!

Just bought the RC Pro controller from DJI for use with my mini-3 pro, installed the APK as directed on your site, and was able to fly with that. Today my controller said that I need to install the latest version, 270. Clicked on the link, and was taken to the Beta page. Downloaded the beta version, was able to connect to the drone, but the app repeatedly disconnects / loses camera view and then reconnects. 

Help???

Any assistance with this would be appreciated.

    Not sure why DJI made it this way, and frustratingly this question gets asked almost daily on these forums.

    Hi!

    Sorry I wasn't clear - my controller connects to the drone - it's just that the software is buggy and crashes.

    When I run dronelink it says I need to download the latest software, version 270 and provides a link right on the controller. I click the link, and end up in the beta download part of your site.

    When I run the beta version of the app, it crashes repeatedly.

    My question: Where am I supposed to download version 270 from?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    This is the hallmark sign that 3.2 has not been done properly. If instead you mean the app crashes and you are indeed using an RC Pro (not the N1), please post steps to reproduce in a bug report:

    Ignore the beta link, it shouldn't have prompted you.

    Hi!

    You were totally right - I didn't follow the steps as proscribed. Thanks for helping with that!

    As far as the beta link, it wouldn't let me fly without updating. I did notice today that there is another update, I'll look into that and follow up.

    I also flew a forty-five minute mission today, 900+ pictures, the app worked flawlessly. Thanks for all your hard work on this - glad I can use my Mini3 Pro for photogrammetry!
