Dronelink on RC Pro keeps disconnecting and reconnecting
Just registered, paid and installed Dronelink on my RC Pro, but unfortunately it's unusable so far. It keeps connecting and disconnecting. Any suggestions? See video:

Thanks for the swift response. I noticed this document earlier and I checked everything.... I updated earlier today my software, I swipe the DJI fly app away...
As discussed in the link, that is not enough.
You are referring to "If you are using a DJI Remote Controller, learn how to terminate DJI Fly or DJI Pilot correctly." I assume.
OK, when I read that, I thought "I know how to terminate an app" But, mea culpa, I didn't click the link to see that you have to terminate it in the settings. And yes, that changed things :-). Thanks for pointing this out.

I am having the same problem now - Jan 7, 2026. I Force Stop the DJI Fky app and have completed everything in 3.2 and I can't even take off the drone because after a few seconds, it disconnects.
Don. When the controller is powered on it usually will open the DJI App automatically. It is possible even after you have force closed the DJI app it may be automatically opening and running in the background and trying to connect to the DJI App. Go to the app settings again and check to make sure it isn’t open again. If it is force close it. Then follow the instructions at the very bottom of that support link about preventing the DJI app or DL or app from launching at start up automatically. This way no app will open automatically and be running in the background which is almost always why it will disconnect. Just remember you will still need to force close either the DJI App or Dronelink app every time after using them before switching to the other. Maybe this will fix the issue. Good luck.
I am aware of that potential issue and have already changed the setting so NO app opens automatically upon start up. And I force close every app when I am done flying. I made sure the drone firmware was up to date. Maybe that will help but haven't had the chance to check it yet (snowing today). Is there a way to check or update the Dronelink software? I haven't been able to figure that out.
The DL mobile app should give a notice when an update is available. The current version is indicated in the mobile app when you click on the hamburger button in the top left of app. I doubt it has anything to do with the version but anything can go wonky. I’m assuming it connects to the DJI App without any issues. Have you delete the app reinstalled it making sure all the permissions are granted. 99% of the time it’s one of the issues in that DL support article usually the DJI App not force closed properly and in some rare cases it could a permission which was not granted.
One other suggestion is to delete the DJI App to eliminate that as the possible issue. If the DL app connects and works at least that will point to the DJI app is somehow causing the issue. If it still disconnects then DL staff may need to test their RC Pro to see if they have any issue. Also, do you have any other third party app and if so has it been force closed ? Sorry I can’t help more.
