Does gimble pitch equal less photos taken?

Hi all,

I've got the basic version of dronelink, and am wondering if upgrading to have access to gimble pitch for mapping missions would equate to less photos being taken for the same area?

Or is gimble pitch more for 3D mapping?

Gimbal pitch is used more for 3D work

It will affect the number of photos as the overlap calculations change.
