If you want to avoid problems you need to use an RC Pro.

Jim McAndrew OK, new question. with dji mini 3, RC-N1, dronelink (267). What phone and version of android do you recommend I use to have the least problems and a better connection? I appreciate your answers

PM Kreuning. The newer drones don’t support IOS devices. IOS can only be used with drones prior to Mavic 3 and Mini 3. Check this link for more info pertaining to the Mini 3. Also the iPhone 6 is a very old and will not work anyway even with the previous drones. A ton of information in the DL help section so I’d suggest looking through it.

I just got a mini 3 pro with the rc controller...wish I had known it would not work with dji waypoints for video as I would not have got it and would have used my mini 2 rcn1 controller with my onn. 10.4 tablet pro...it works great with dji fly but dronelink beta crashes quite a bit (not sure if it's the tablet or the sdk causing it) but hopefully it's the sdk and they get it figured out asap 😀
