3D images turning out w/out and details..
Can anyone help me figure out why my 3D renders in DroneLink are turning out like this? I have detailed pics of the all sides of building, including a snap shot of this pic in the front. I used approx 100 pics total, but the details is far from what the pics captured...

What photogrammetry program(s) did you use to produce the model? Can you make an archive of the images available?
Also what map settings did you use
Sharing the mission would be a good idea too.

sorry Ken. mis read your question. I used PixPro. I need to figure out how to share the photos with a link. working on that
Try using Agisoft Metashape. You can use a free trial version to see how it works
Pix Pro- Im thinking this would have been a question for the PixPro discussion group, not the DroneLink.. My bad...
If you can make the images available, people in this community could run them in other software and share the resulting models.

Ran the photos through webodm and the model produced is not useful. Looking at the plan, I would suggest expanding the map area and decreasing the gimbal angle.

I can agree that the choice of the tool has an impact (metashape, webodm, ...).
Before this, I am 100% sure that the way to map is very very important.
One can find many infos about the tools, but unfortunately not a lot about the best way to map (heigh, speed, angle, oblique, overlap, ...).
Like most of mapper hobbyists, I am trying to improve myself by experience.
If some of you could provide tips, rules, or whatever it would be great.

Rob Wright, I've made a couple of changes to your plan on the map component, I've slowed the max speed down to 10MPH, rotated the flight direction by 20 deg, increased both front and side overlap to 80%, so see how that goes

Martin Reading - What is your webodm setup? Docker, Native windows, linux? If Docker, what is your resource allocation? I ask because we both ran the Rob Wright images with webodm and my results differ from yours.
Ken, I've got the native windows version, just ran the photos on default
Martin Reading - found my problem. My results are now the same as yours - running webodm native windows version.
Interesting Martin Reading - I also have the native windows version, but running on default gave a very poor result. Running on high res gave me what you posted.
What do people reading this thread think about users posting links to 3d models along with the dronelink plans from which they were created. Perhaps some additional details such as Photogrammetry software used. I have some I could post if there was interest.
