Alternative to YouTube Frustration....
So, I am quite new to all this and by this I mean Drones in general let alone automated software, interpolation, path actions, Orthomosaics, GEOTiffs, KMZ and the list goes on. That’s before you get to Drone Deploy, Pix4D, Metashape, Pix Pro etc etc
So, after hanging out on here and YouTube I saw a couple of names appear a lot who seemed quite clued up on all this stuff and I must have spent a good couple of hours watching 5 minute Fridays. I liked the straight down to it approach and not the usual endless waffle! Not to mention some super content and I believe there is a really good one coming this week too (well I found it kind of game changing)
I was finding myself spending hours on YouTube etc and sometimes going backwards due to information overload, so I contacted Barry to see if he was interested in some consultancy with a view to saving myself a load of time and frustration. The result was a couple of 1-hour sessions at what I deem a very reasonable price which has now enabled me to produce some semi decent data and present solutions to clients in a couple of different and flexible ways. As per the 5-minute Fridays Barry is really clear and methodical in explaining things.
I would thoroughly recommend if anyone finds themselves in a similar scenario to me
