Gimbal Orientation Failed

I created a flight route on the map and executed the flight plan. The aircraft uses the DJI Air 2S.

When the aircraft reaches the planned starting position, it displays "Gimbal Orientation Failed. Gimbal Orientation Pitch -90° Gimbal Not Rotated" and does not start.

Aircraft firmware is 02.04.2500.

I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to solve it.

Might be easier if you can share the mission so that people can take a look at it.

That all looks good, what version of Dronelink are you using

    A few things to suggest

    1. Which device are you using?  There are some device specific versions so make sure that you have the right one - if you are on iOS then 4.6.0(259) should be OK.
    2. Did you try it again after it failed?
    3. Silly question - did you still have the gimbal guard on?

Sounds like it is a regression in the firmware back to this issue:

    https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/7597926471315-MAVIC-AIR-2-S-GIMBAL-ORIENTATION-FAILED

    Will test to confirm later.

    info

    Experiencing this exact same issue.

    DJI Fly 1.10.6 (777)
    Dronelink 4.6.0
    DJI Air 2S firmware 02.04.2170
    RC Firmware 03.00.0306

Will try to update firmware to 2500

info  That firmware is very old so you need to update. Even if this issue posted here isn’t fixed by updating your firmware you may have other issues. I suggest always using the most current firmware and DL app version. There were many issues with the A2S originally which took several fixes by DJI.

    Dear Barry Houldsworth,
    It uses iOS.
I've tried several times and it's still the same.
We have manually confirmed that the gimbal moves normally, so we have definitely removed the gimbal guard.

If you turn on the gimbal attitude indicator in the settings, does it show the right read-out?

I was able to confirm that gimbal angles from 24° to -90° can be acquired correctly on the monitor.

    Hello Ryuga,

I was not able to replicate this issue. Testing on an Air2S with 02.04.2500 firmware, on iOS and Android mobile devices, using version 4.6.0 (259). Tested it using a Gimbal Orientation Command by itself, and your mission plan copied to our location. Each time it moved the camera to -90 without and error message.

What mobile device were you using with the Air2S? Please share specifics. Also try calibrating your gimbal.

    Best,
    Jacob

I tried calibrating the gimbal and it showed the same error.
The mobile device I was using is iPad mini 6th generation version 16.5.1.
I also tried with Android SH-41A, version 12, but the result was the same.

Does the gimbal actually move even though the command is failling?

After the command fails, the aircraft will hover and the gimbal will not move.

I was only able to manually switch gimbals while hovering.
