DJI Mini 3 Pro - Onboard Waypoints
Hey guys!
I recently bought a DJI Mini 3 PRO with the DJI RC.Given that I'm rather new to the subject I am quite happy with the out-of-the-box experience with the DJI FLY controlling.
Recently DJI published the SDK for the Mini 3 and Mini 3 PRO. I live in quite the mountainous region where the connection to the aircraft sometimes gets lost when flying out too far. Onboard Waypoint capabilities would solve this problem. Is it possible to use this with the DJI Mini 3 PRO and DroneLink?
I know I would have to get another remote controller, so I'd very much like to know before I invest money.

No the mini 3 pro doesn't support onboard waypoints, like all other recent DJI consumer drones for use with software such as Dronelink it uses VSC (Virtual Stick Commands), this means should you lose connection with the controller, then the drone will do what ever its set up to do on signal loss (hover, auto land or RTH)(hopefully the latter)
Is this still the case that the mini 3 pro cannot continue mission if signal is lost?

Yes. And that is unlikely to change as it doesn't support onboard Components
