What can be achieved with a mini2 & Dronelink
This is a model of the area that I live, I shot it using my mini2, the data set contains 402 photos 166 nadir at 285 feet & 266 -65deg gimbal at 185 feet, just used Default settings in WebODM.
I think this goes to show what a versatile little tool the Mini2 is when used in conjunction with Dronelink

Thanks Tim B, mini 2 has never failed me, it gives great bang for the buck
Nice Job! I used my Mini2 to make a 3d map using Meshroom. Have you done this before?
Weliver Gary, yeah I've done several projects before, I've got one I,m doing of a new housing estate that a friend moved onto, where I'm running the mission as the build progresses
I am trying to figure out how to enter the specs for my mini 2 camera into the MeshRoom database, it shows up as " ", default which is causing several photos to be rejected
Thanks in Advance for any help you can offer!
Not using Meshroom, I use WebODM
Have you had any issues yet? Does webODM replace Meshroom?
Yes WebODM would be in place of Meshroom, and yes I've had a couple of problems, but they have all been worked out quickly as they have a very good support forum, check out their website https://www.opendronemap.org/webodm/
Martin Reading - I thought I would give dronedb a try since it has an aggregate size limit on free accounts rather than a "per model" limit like Sketchfab. Set it up and uploaded a model but can't get it to work.
Then I revisited your model and found the same problem I was having. Any idea what's gone wrong with DroneDB?
Ken Kroeker, What problem are you having with DroneDB, I'm having no problem viewing it on above link
is that when trying to view my model
yes it is.
It is some sort of Browser issue. When the model was first posted I accessed it using Chrome. Since then I have created an account with Dronedb and used Chrome to access the site. Once I did that your model began giving the error.
Just now I tried accessing your model with Edge and it worked fine. Then I logged in to my account from Edge and your model is no longer accessible.
I'll delete the cookies and see what happens.
Clearing all the dronedb cookies solves the access problem. Still can't access my own model or create links etc.
Ken Kroeker, try setting it to unlisted
Tried that - no joy.
I can't access their sample repository - I get that same error. When I try to open an uploaded 3d model I get "not found".
@martin reading - Solved the dronedb access problem. It is a permissions issue. I edited the browser cookies and the problem went away. Thanks muchly for you attempt to help out. Dronedb should really document better. I will post to their Github.
When I saw your video on the mini2 loss I thought you had run into one of those rather testy landowners when searching for your drone :-))
Ken Kroeker, back in 2020 at the start of covid I was cycling through a farmyard, and the farmers wife came out and had a go at me, so I politely apologised, got off my bike and proceeded to push it the rest of the way, till I was off the farm, about 0.5Km away, shhe tracked me all the way with a drone about 30 feet above me
