Autonoumos missions without connection to controler for Mini 2

Hi guys

Is it possible to plan a waypoint mission and let the drone fly without connection to the controller. I mean after the connection is lost, it will still carried out the mission until the connection is available?

I am planning to do a river survery and I need to fly out as long as 3 to 4km plus. That is why I am asking.

No it is not possible as the Mini2 uses Virtual Stick Control to fly missions with such as Dronelink, so on signal loss the mini2 will perform whatever action you have set for a signal loss situation

Thank you, is there a DJI Drone that is capable of doing autonomous flight without controller? DJI Mini 3 Pro or DJI Mavic 3 Pro perhaps?

The Parrot Bebop, will fly till it drops(10 minutes ... maybe), on a pre-installed mission from a computer. But the Parrot Anafi might have the same capability of flying without the controller(after starting it and sending it on it's way). I think the Anafi flies about 25-30 minutes(20MP?)
