Dronelink not connecting to Mavic 2

I'm flying a Mavic 2 Pro, and a Mini SE.

No problem using the Mini, but my 2 Pro is another issue.

I create a mission on the Laptop, and fly with a Apple 8+. No issues with Mini SE, however with the 2 Pro after starting dronelink, I attempt to load a mission and a second later dronelink quits.

Any assistance with this issue would be welcomed.

What DL version are you using ? Also if you mean the Apple iPhone 8 Plus then even though it will work you may have issues. It is listed on their “low performance devices” list. I have an iPhone 8 Plus but have only used it a few times awhile ago and it worked but just realize you may need a more recently released device as mentioned in the one link.

Hi Jim - I am also having a problem with Mavic Pro 2. I cannot upload the Dronelink app onto my Smart Controller. Would appreciate some help with this.

Thanks Martin Reading - I have previously tried this, however run into problems at the first step, as when I go to Dronelink download page on the RC it tells me "Your Browser Is No longer Supported" - it gives me the option to upgrade Google Chrome, Safari (Mac), Edge or Firefox. However when I click on any of these I get a blank screen. I have updated firmware, but still not working. Any suggestions?

Sorry Chris Sprott, in that case I don't know what to suggest, I'm assuming when you try to do this, you actually do have an internet connection, maybe Jim McAndrew can shed some more light

Are you able to download the file to an SD card and install it from there?

Confirmed that dronelink.com/download definitely does not like the browser on the SC. For now the work-around is downloading the APK to an SD card first.
