Dronelink dji beta flight log
Mapping with dji mini 3 pro and obviously using dronelink dji app I noticed that the flight logs are actually empty, without coordinates without sensors, practically useless.

Most of the content in DL Beta .DAT flightlog repository is recognizable at AirData UAV. Here's a screenshot.
Airdata UAV repository doesn't recognize the .txt flight logs. Try the .dat instead.
Mats Hägglund, are you manually uploading the .dat file or using the auto upload to AirData, assuming that Roberto Lombardi Geologo is auto uploading
Thnx for asking. Auto upload requires some license agreement I don't have. I'm manually uploading (it's free of charge though) and as pointed out Airdata UAV doesn't recognize .TXT formatted flightlogs generated from the MSDKv5 software layer. Instead they're partially accepting .DAT ones ❤️
Mats Hägglund, that may be of help to Jim McAndrew and the team in helping to sort the auto upload problem, by the way auto upload to airdata is free and all is explained here
It's ok with .dat.
The mission is 40% failed.
Thnx Martin however the auto upload requires the Elite plan at whopping USD99. Compared to basic USD 24,99..... 😂
Mats Hägglund, you get a bit more than just auto upload for the extra $75, which you could always spread out by upgrading to premium first, then Elite at a later date, as you only pay the difference between the plan levels to upgrade to the next level, that's what I originally did
Yes that's true. There's no such thing as a free lunch. However in comparison with other third party app vendors w waypoint missions etc etc they're not charging extra for adding auto upload to whatever third party flight log repository imo ❤️
Noticably is the fact that .TXT flightlogs created with DL app 4.6.0 (2255) from Mini 2 on MSDKv4 software layer is fully recognizable by AirData UAV. Seems to be some changes in the format from Mini 3 series over MSDKv5. I've addressed this with AirData support. Sent them both formats for evaluation. Hopes and prayers ❤️
That's a good move
I also noticed that TXT logs recognized by neither AirData nor Dronelogbook - 2 services Dronelink can use right from the app.
I went and contacted both. I provided to both services sample TXT log to work with. Dronelogbook already fixed its service to parse flight metadata. Unfortunately no GPS points yet, they keep working on it. AirData not answered yet.
I found one more tool, FlightReader https://www.flightreader.com/ - it is Windows app that parse logs. Contacted, author, he replied quickly and he fixed his app to parse TXT logs. So, if one want to explore flight logs - FlightReader knows to parse it!
