ok this isn't a biggy, but the link at the top of the app telling you that a new version is available only points to the Dronelink website and not the google play store

    You´re right.
All my "DL Dji" updates are downloaded from DL site.

stéphane GARNIER, this is the the normal DL, not DL DJI, was installed from the play store, previously there used to be 2 links at the top when an update was available, one pointing to the APK on the Dronelink site, and one to Google Play store

We updated the beta version of the app to always point to our beta article because it has links to the Google Play store and the APKs, and also contains our latest instructions for beta users, which have been changing a lot.

Cheers Jim McAndrew, wondered whether it was something on those lines

There was a plugin that claimed it could detect if the app was installed from Google Play originally, so we may integrate that later and do better, but for now…here we are.

    Today :

Dronelink beta version I am using for mini 2 is showing 4.6.0 (258).

Dronelink Dji beta version I am using for mini 3 PRO is showing 4.6.0 (258).

I am wondering if it is a coincidence or not.

It is not a coincidence, we release them at the same time and it is basically the same code based (except the part that talks to DJI).
