Cannot take off with m300/iPad mini

Good morning, I am using a professional growth account, and I’m testing with my M300 RTK, the drone hooks up and I create my test map but when I go to start the mission, I’m getting an error code. The code is 1008.

Any help?

Make sure the mode switch is in the right setting.

Yup - thought it was a long shot but...sometimes it's the silly things we miss.

    Can you share the mission?

This happens when the drone is already in the air or on the ground? Latest firmware?

Drone is on the ground.  All latest firmware installed and updated, latest version of drone link, the aircraft is in RTK mode, not sure if that makes a difference.

Does it work if you start in the air?

After I restarted the application, and pulled up the map mission, I tried to take off manually but it wouldn’t let me start the engines. Pushing both sticks in did nothing.

This is the root cause of the issue. When you start a mission on the ground, it attempts and auto-takeoff command, which is failing because the drone is being prevented from taking off. Please open up DJI Pilot and try to takeoff to see what the cause of the restriction is.

As soon as I disconnected the iPad and opened up pilot2, I was able to take off and fly around with no issues. I then landed, hooked the iPad back up, loaded the application and attempted to take off but received the same error.

My guess is if you have RTK enabled, you haven't configured it in DL. Sadly, the configuration does not carry over between apps.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

Another option to try is using the Dronelink DJI app (which is based on MSDKv5) directly on the RC:
