Mini 3 Pro Feedback

Tony Simek

Hello DL Team,

I just did a mission today and had time to fly it with both the M3E, and then I repeated the exact same mission with the Mini 3 Pro / beta.  Excellent experience!!!  No app crashes.  On one orbit the drone was "off course" with the Mini 3 Pro, however there were high winds and the orbit was set to be rather fast due to the size of the property being filmed.

Honestly, I was expecting more bumps on the head, but overall, Dronelink + Mini 3 Pro is a heck of a bang for the buck.  Great work!!!

Everything was handled well and the drone flew as expected.  No app issues.  And of course, I still love the modern interface.  Beautiful!

Yes sir.  Used the RC Pro from my Mavic 3 Cine, and loaded DL on that.  Ran excellent!!!

Ya, the RC Pro has been running great whereas Android device + N1 isn't great (crashes all the time). It's literally the same exact code on our side, so it is hard to believe it is something on our end. Most of the crash logs point to libraries like the DJI SDK. They said they are planning to upgrade the SDK to support later version of the Android SDK, which will hopefully help:

I am toying with the idea to get the new Tripltek (their new "9" model seems to be faster.)  If I pull the trigger I will be able to test on that with the RCN1.  Good luck getting DJI sorted!  Just wanted to see how this beta was looking and glad I did because the Mini 3 Pro actually has some chops with Dronelink.  I would use this where I don't want to send in an expensive drone, yet still get some decent shots.

As does its little bro, the mini2. I've been really impressed with what it's capable of since I started using Dronelink

Oh yes that it does Martin! I agree! I still wish I had kept my Mini 2 Pro. Just a fun great drone!

I have the RC-N1.  Just got it.  It was a real PITA pairing it up with my M3P since I have the RC controller with the screen. So you will have to deal with issues with binding/unbinding, etc.

I'm not sure what paid level of DL you are using (hobby or commercial).  I have not bought either one yet as I can't get my drone to connect with the app...no camera output of any kind.  And yes...I am using the Modern DJI APK.
