Yes that's true, previous reports on Samsung devices shipped in different regions with either Snapdragon CPU or the Samsung proprietary processor Exonys there were flaws for live video feed. I believe they ironed that out since long time.
maybe your device not have a problem i have a xiaomi redmi 9 note pro and a can't connect the drone. the app. had many faillure
Roberto, is it a permissions problem? There was another connection issue with a Xiaomi phone that was resolved in this thread:

I’ve got a Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet on order with a Snapdragon CPU so I’m particularly interested in whether it will work or not when it arrives!
I got my Mini 3 Pro working with a snapdragon S21 Ultra (SM-G9980). It does crash occasionally requiring me to clear cache and reconnect to the drone, which is a bit of a worry if doing a long mapping task. But the video comes across fine.
Video feed works properly on my S21 FE 5g as well. Still scared to fly due to the crash issues reported but on the ground it seems to stream correctly.
The crashing issues relate to the DL software crashing on the mobile device. Your drone will remain in the air, usually paused, and the return to home button generally still works. You can manually control the drone using the remote sticks and/or restart the DL App.
I've seen in some cases the drone was not responding to manual control so for the time being I'll just wait for a stable version.
To be clear, if the app crashes while a mission is running, the drone will still be in virtual stick mode. The process to regain control is the same as if the app is still running.
Decided to test and as expected the app crashed after a few minutes performing a 'focus' maneuver. Regained control by restarting the app, reconnecting the drone and switching fly mode. After control was restored the response to sticks was someway 'strange' as the drone was initially gaining altitude while going forward.
In addition, the focus is quite unpredictable as it is not clear what is actually trying to track...
Hopefully the app will improve a lot in the future as in the current status even for the short time it works is underwhelming for the huge cost requested to access the advanced features (I bought it just to add the focus mode to my Mini3).
From the How do I Join the Beta article:
You are right, but since on the previous post you suggested it was safe enough to test, I did it and shared my preliminary feedback.
From now on I'll just wait for the release version.
Sorry to dig up a dead post, I have an S21 (UK/EU Variant) (yes I didn't read the bit at the bottom before downloading, but a beta is a beta so I expected some issues) and I have some interesting results with video.
Firstly if I start the app and there is no video or I have a stuck frame I find if close the app, open the DJI Fly App, Go fly, then close it. Then I start the dronelink app again then suddenly the video works absolutely fine.
However when I then record it gets stuck on a frame until I stop recording.
Hope this helps with any future fixes on this.
Alex. That device is listed in their article and won’t work. You will need to use a different device.

Mike, I know, I may have not been clear with this bit "yes I didn't read the bit at the bottom before downloading"
The rest still reads the same. I had the issues clearly which are stated.
However I managed to get around the issues (apart from when recording for some reason but as soon as i'd stop it would work, and I have to keep VLOS anyway) by going into DJI App briefly. First id open the dronelink app and then I'd see a frame instead of a video. I then close the app fully. I then open the DJI Fly App, Go fly. The video starts. I then close that app fully and reopen DroneLink. THEN MAGICALLY THE VIDEO WORKS AND IS BUTTERY SMOOTH.
The reason I put my method of how I make it work for me (apart from when recording as I said) was in the event that might help work out whatever causes the issue (if its not known).
My phone is an S21. I even managed to run a entire waypoints and get a good recording with it.
Understood. A lot to go through but if it works then great. As far as I know it has to do with the DJI SDK and different SDK versions along with Android OS. You never know but not sure DL can fix it. Enjoy.
